Projects
In 2014 Water District #2 completed replacement of the original water mains along
Ft. Bellingham, Olympic, Howard, and Bancroft south of Marine Drive. The District
has also worked closely with the City of Bellingham to upgrade its master meters
and vaults including new double check valve assemblies. Over the next few years
the District will be updating its comprehensive water system plan during which the rest of the water mains will be evaluated.
